Just read this story from ABC Local in Philadelphia, Pennsylvannia:
“A tiny revolution took place at 11:00 a.m. Saturday in Drexel Hill.
For the first time ever in Southeastern Pennsylvania, a customer purchased wine from a vending machine at a supermarket.
The wine kiosk that opened this morning, right next to the gourmet cheese department at the Fresh Grocer, is only the third of its kind.”
We’ve discussed a series of different snack vending machines ,and sodavending machines on the blog in the past, but this is the first time that this writer can remember ever hearing about a vending machine that serves alcohol.
